time will tell

time does tell, but it says different things to different people
never letting on which are lies and which are half-truths
making sure to leave every scene as muddled as possible
except those demanding of crystalline clarity
sharp fractured moments of time, jagged and clear enough to cut
wrending hearts and lives in the splittest of seconds
withnothing but more time to come and cloud the issue
agai
nothing told
nothing new
nothing sorrowed
nothing true

time will tell, but only if you're not listening
